Materials:
Small brown bag
Platypus parts template (printable 2
nd
page)
Construction paper
Googly eyes
Glue stick
Crayon or marker
Scissors
Directions:
1. Using the templates provided, cut the platypus parts
from the construction paper.
2. Once the pieces are all cut out, you can trace the printed lines
onto the construction paper pieces. This is optional. Discard
printed template pieces.
3. Fold in the corners of the flat bottom of the bag and glue them in place so
the bag seam is narrower. Glue the bill in the center on that narrow seam. Then
glue the feet to the sides of the bag and the tail to the
bottom back of the bag. Finally glue on the googly eyes.
